New Macro fun!

Sooo… I just got a new lens…no wedding photographer is complete with out a macro lens. Ok, that’s not true, but it sure is an awesome compliment to my camera bag. The second I got home from seeing Transformers 3, My shiny new B&H box was sitting on the front step. Thank you UPS man!! I break open the box and my own wedding rings to try it out. Wedding ring detail shots are so fun to try and make interesting. There are many things one can do to add interest. Here are a couple of my first tries with the new lens (sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro for Canon).

Sara + Corey Married In Jax | jacksonville wedding photographer

Sara and Corey got married Saturday in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. We started at the Hyatt and then on to St. Andrew’s Cathedral Church, and finished with the reception at the Firefighter’s hall in Riverside. Here are some shots from their happy day!

Sara and her family are BIG Jaguar fans…so we thought it was perfect to shoot the dress at the stadium! We were a very short limo ride away.

The clouds were no where in site for this stunning shot of St. Andrew’s cathedral.

I usually love the laughing shot the best! But that’s me.

As we were shooting the couple’s pictures outside the reception hall, a kind gentlemen drove by and asked if we’d like to “get the car in the pictures”. We said YES of course!!

Sara had a yummy candy table with hot pink and black assorted candy! (I would recommend this to all my brides! YUM!! )

Last shot of the day…the lovely fire fighters let the couple get a few shots on the truck. Thanks JFRD! And many thanks to Elle Photography for having me come along.

All I can say about this wedding is BEAUTIFUL!!! All the bright cherry colors made this wedding wonderful to look at. The little details are what drew me in. I love the limes, and splashes of hot pink. Here are a few images from this awesome wedding at the Palm Valley Gardens in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. And Many thanks to Alex Walker with Elle Photography, for having me second shoot with her.

Clark and Melanie were such a sweet couple. Radiating with lovey, doveyness (okay, so I made that word up). Enjoy their big day!

Jenna’s Baby Bump : (Jacksonville Baby + Maternity Photographer}

It was cold this afternoon when I met Jenna and Phil in downtown Jacksonville. We took the first of many sessions of Jenna’s growing family today.
