I first met Katie at Starbucks back in May of this year. And we hit it off first thing. She has the sweetest personality, and is always in a cheerful mood. I love every time I get to talk to her. Then I finally met BJ at The Wedding Exhibit Bridal Show in August, both seemed excited for their engagement session, and so was I. As Katie and I talked about where we would do her session, she wanted something romantic and vintage. So, we ended up in the beautiful city of St. Augustine! I always love coming down here. It’s a fun challenge to find different little places to shoot. I was so excited when we came across this little PINK house!

Love the vintage books that BJ brought for the session.

If you know me, you know I’ll always love the couples who get IN a body of water for a picture!!

I can not wait for Katie and BJ’s wedding this November!!! <3

I recently chose my new wedding album company and I’m super excited! Kiss Wedding Books is my company of choice. Why? because they have few choices. If you’re like me, I can’t make a decision to save my life. haha….One of the cool things about Kiss is they have few choices: 4 sizes, 7 colors, leather or linen. That’s it! I love it…

Oh, and did I mention the albums are BEAUTIFUL!?! I ordered the pink 10×10 leather album, for the sample I’m blogging today. It’s heavy, lush, and super pretty! They all come in this cool heavy duty fabric cover, even the tiny ones! I can’t wait to give all my brides this quality, simple album. Thank you KISS!!

ok…I have had a vision for this shoot a while now. It’s a bridal session with a rock-n-country twist. I love how romantic and edgy the images are. The clothing/style design is by me. Hair/make-up by Faythe Mesic. Model is Mandi. Jacksonville, Florida has some great landscapes, and this location is just that. I loved all 300 images, but will limit it to 35 LOL. Here is my vision of “Country Strong”

Wow. I can’t believe it’s been about a year since I met Mason, Noelle, and their family. We met in Riverside at Memorial Park to shoot their 1st and 3rd birthday photos! And what a fun time it was. If you have two kids that are these ages (like I do also) you will laugh right along with me. But really, they are so cute, and made me smile at the images I got. Here are some of the cute pics of Mason and Noelle.

Sara + Corey Married In Jax | jacksonville wedding photographer

Sara and Corey got married Saturday in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. We started at the Hyatt and then on to St. Andrew’s Cathedral Church, and finished with the reception at the Firefighter’s hall in Riverside. Here are some shots from their happy day!

Sara and her family are BIG Jaguar fans…so we thought it was perfect to shoot the dress at the stadium! We were a very short limo ride away.

The clouds were no where in site for this stunning shot of St. Andrew’s cathedral.

I usually love the laughing shot the best! But that’s me.

As we were shooting the couple’s pictures outside the reception hall, a kind gentlemen drove by and asked if we’d like to “get the car in the pictures”. We said YES of course!!

Sara had a yummy candy table with hot pink and black assorted candy! (I would recommend this to all my brides! YUM!! )

Last shot of the day…the lovely fire fighters let the couple get a few shots on the truck. Thanks JFRD! And many thanks to Elle Photography for having me come along.

More from the GORGEOUS wedding of Jill and Collin at the lovely Palm Valley Gardens. The day was filled with on and off again rain. But thankfully, the rain backed off long enough for the ceremony and most of the reception. But I have always heard that rain is good luck on your wedding day.

The dress shot: We were able to try some really cool dress shots, thanks to the bride. Photographers LOVE it when we can take the dress outside. I believe it really showcases the dress beautifully.

The flower girl is actually Jill’s niece. She was a ham for the camera! (and oh so sweet.)

Jill and Collin’s dogs were in on the wedding, too. They even wore tux and veil collars!! Love it!

Okay, just to prepare you…this is a long post. I loved almost all the images I took from this session. Cj and Rachel were so naturally in love, I just kept capturing all these great moments. Enjoy a few of my FAVES!!

I loved this old house…..We didn’t know the person who lived there, so we only snapped a few quick shots there.

This was just some of the laughter from today! They are so cute together.

The great thing about this session, was that I didn’t have to tell them to kiss ever! All the kissing and lovey doveiness was genuine!

Had to get some jumping in there!
