It’s finished!! I have been planning this editorial forever! Pretty much since I first read Breaking Dawn have I been wanting to see Bella and Edward get married….Last year I also did a fun twilight shoot just for kicks. And now I have finally completed Bella and Edward’s wedding! I will say it is “inspired” by the actual book characters, with some details from the 5 second movie trailer that came out in September. I had a blast planning all the little details that went into this editorial. Even using some pieces from my personal collections…

I had the pleasure in working with some great wedding vendors in Jacksonville, Florida.

Wow. It seems like forever since I blogged last. Well, this blog post is from a wedding I helped a fellow “togger” friend shoot. Alex, with elle photography. The venue is The Club Continental in Orange Park. It’s a very special venue to me, since it’s where I was married a cool 5 years ago. Hmmm, how time flies. Back then, I never once thought I’d be back shoot other couple’s weddings. And I am SOOO glad I am! I LOVE weddings! There’s just something about the stress, and excitement of the day that gets one going like a good cup of coffee (which I also LOVE).

Here are a few of my favorites from Lauren and Cody’s wedding day. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your wedding adventure! Enjoy….

More from the GORGEOUS wedding of Jill and Collin at the lovely Palm Valley Gardens. The day was filled with on and off again rain. But thankfully, the rain backed off long enough for the ceremony and most of the reception. But I have always heard that rain is good luck on your wedding day.

The dress shot: We were able to try some really cool dress shots, thanks to the bride. Photographers LOVE it when we can take the dress outside. I believe it really showcases the dress beautifully.

The flower girl is actually Jill’s niece. She was a ham for the camera! (and oh so sweet.)

Jill and Collin’s dogs were in on the wedding, too. They even wore tux and veil collars!! Love it!

I had the pleasure of shooting Miss Ali and her family today. Talk about a Cutie pie! With a capital “C”. She was baptized today, and we were about to get her session in too. She was such a good girl all day! And probably has never had her picture taken so much in one day. Here are a few of my faves from the session so far.

More from the shoot hosted by Make-up Artist Faythe. She had many brides and bride’s maids in different designer gowns model for us to shoot. I love doing events like this, because there’s no pressure. It’s just fun, and great networking with others in my field!

It was a chilly, yet sunny day in North Florida, on the beautiful Amelia Island. We arrived at the Ribalt Club, and formed our shoot groups, and started shooting. A few hours later, I came home with these beautiful images!!! I was so excited.

It was beautifully overcast with some bursts of sun! Best for awesome pictures. =)

This dress reminded me of a mermaid…I love the sparkle and the color!

The purple feathers in her hair really go well with the green dress. I love how funky, yet feminine it is.

The orchids in her hair really was beautiful! I love the organic elements that were added to the glam in this shoot.

Baby Liam : {Jacksonville Baby Photographer}

Today I shot baby Liam. You may remember his mom from a baby bump session I did a month or so ago. He was born on Christmas day! What a great present for his mommy and daddy. =) I was lucky enough to get to see him at less than a week old. Thank you Jennifer for having me over today. He was a fighting sleep in the beginning, but once he was out, it was for a while.

THanks Adam for having me come along to try out my new camera. Had fun, and it was nice meeting the couple of whose wedding I’ll be second shooing in May along with Adam, with Great Catch Photography. We started at the Florida Theater and walked around getting some nice shots along the way. It was briskly cold, downtown, very nice change from the sweltering heat of Florida. Here are some of my favorites.
