This weekend I get to shoot this lovely couple’s wedding! I can’t wait. I remember from the first time I met with Layla, at Starbucks (surprise), she was all smiles. And was just a sweet and easy going at their engagement session. Layla and Andy are so nice to work with. I’m so happy they picked me to shoot their awesome wedding at the Lightner Museum during the Night of Lights! It’s going to be awesome!

I met Brett and Kelli last year when I second shot their wedding at the Club Continental in Orange Park. The contacted me this year to shoot a “Rock the Dress | Couple’s Edition” for their one year anniversary. they chose the beautiful city of St. Augustine as the backdrop for their awesome images. I personally love when couple’s do sessions like this after their wedding because they are more relaxed than at the wedding (no matter how chill you may think you are). The photographer, bride and groom also get to be more creative in a two hour session than in the 30-40 minutes they may have set aside for their couples portrait on wedding day.

Their session is beautiful! so here are some of my faves…and yes scroll all the way down, because the ocean is involved.

A couple weeks ago I shot another wedding at Nocatee, Florida. Crosswater Hall seems to be a new popular venue for North Florida brides. You may remember this super cute couple from their winter engagement session. They had a beautiful ceremony and a super sweet reception…check out a few of my favorites capturing their day.

Last weekend I was able to second shoot Jill and Brent’s wedding with my friend Szarmack photography. I showed up to the new wedding venue in Nocatee Florida, Crosswater Hall to see Jill’s style was rich with gold and deep purple. It was beautiful! Very pretty to photograph. Her awesome caterer’s, D’vine Cuisine had prepared yummy meal, and had an awesome COFFEE BAR, my FAVE!! Here are a few of my favorites!

Jill’s make-up by the lovely Tracey Upson…she does a beautiful bridal look that is flawless in the photos.

So the next set of photos are of the beautiful couple and the killer sunset we had that night. It was awesome! We fought through the bugs and sweaty heat, but I knew the images were going to be awesome. We always love when couples are open to getting the creative shots. After all these are what you are going to have to remember your day!

Abbey + Shawn Rock the Dress (well Abbey does, anyway)

Abbey and Shawn got married in November of last year HERE. They wait until it was spring to do their Rock the Dress session. And may I say, this is why I think ALL couples should do a “Day After” or “Rock the Dress” session. You are relaxed, married, and ready to have fun! We went to St. Augustine and walked around the back streets. I LOVE the scenery in St. Augustine. Here are some of Abbey and Shawn’s shots from the day.

Sara + Corey Married In Jax | jacksonville wedding photographer

Sara and Corey got married Saturday in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. We started at the Hyatt and then on to St. Andrew’s Cathedral Church, and finished with the reception at the Firefighter’s hall in Riverside. Here are some shots from their happy day!

Sara and her family are BIG Jaguar fans…so we thought it was perfect to shoot the dress at the stadium! We were a very short limo ride away.

The clouds were no where in site for this stunning shot of St. Andrew’s cathedral.

I usually love the laughing shot the best! But that’s me.

As we were shooting the couple’s pictures outside the reception hall, a kind gentlemen drove by and asked if we’d like to “get the car in the pictures”. We said YES of course!!

Sara had a yummy candy table with hot pink and black assorted candy! (I would recommend this to all my brides! YUM!! )

Last shot of the day…the lovely fire fighters let the couple get a few shots on the truck. Thanks JFRD! And many thanks to Elle Photography for having me come along.

Let’s see a little more from Keith and Annie’s quaint San Marco wedding. The chapel they had their ceremony is a historic place in Downtown Jacksonville, San Marco area. The grounds of the chapel were so beautiful with their large trees, and green grass. Annie had her two sisters and a friend as her maids of honor. And they all three were expecting!

Yes, she really is that beautiful.

They had the reception at their GORGEOUS waterfront home on the St. Johns river.

I had the pleasure of shooting Miss Ali and her family today. Talk about a Cutie pie! With a capital “C”. She was baptized today, and we were about to get her session in too. She was such a good girl all day! And probably has never had her picture taken so much in one day. Here are a few of my faves from the session so far.

She, along with her mom, traveled to Green Cove Springs to a train yard to shoot her Rock the Dress session with me. Married almost 4 years ago, can you believe Brooke can still fit into her wedding dress!! That’s awesome!
