Hello and welcome to my fabulous blog!! My name is Stephie Joy and I'm a mom, a wife, a lefty, and a photographer. My style is artistic, fresh, modern, intimate, real...it's YOU! I love taking pictures and am always looking for ways to be unique and creative with what I do! I strive to capture life as it happens. My sessions are laid back and stress free so you can be you and have fun. I want to capture in a photograph what you feel in your heart.

It was cold this afternoon when I met Jenna and Phil in downtown Jacksonville. We took the first of many sessions of Jenna’s growing family today. I had a great time, and was super happy I met these two…soon to be three! Here’s a sneak peek from their session. Can’t wait to meet their baby next month!!

We had an early start this morning! 6:30 in the am. =) I met Leslie and Cory at The Club Continental this morning. We had some chilly fun getting some really cute shots. Here is one of my faves!! Full blog post to be listed soon.

I have a passion for maternity and newborn photography. I adore the love and life that is captured in both miracles. I don’t believe there is much more beautiful than a pregnant belly! Well, maybe a squishy newborn baby! These are some of the best memories a Mom can have. Why not capture them beautifully? I’m having a sale for the Mommas-2-Be and their new additions.
The price is listed below. The catch is: SALE ENDS Feb. 28th, and full amount is due up front at time of booking, and the Mommy-2-Be must already be pregnant. The maternity session is best used in months 7 or 8. This way Mommy-2-Be is as comfortable as can be! Those last months are killer in the comfort area! When booking the newborn session, it’s best shot within the baby’s 1st 2 weeks of life. Other than that, you may use your last session within a year of baby’s birth. =) Not too bad of a catch. I hope to be able to capture these precious memories for you to have forever!

God has blessed me with so much the past year. A beautiful new baby, a wonderful husband, and sweet baby girl. And a wonderful creative outlet that allows me to make memories last a lifetime. I owe Him and thank Him for everything…even if that does mean getting a whole year older! haha.

What precious little kids!!! OMG Are you kidding this cuteness?! Both babies are an answer to my prayers. God couldn’t have done ANY better. =) I’m so glad she’s looking more like me everyday. 
Next is the little boy. He turns 5 months in a few days. LOVE these photos!

Today I shot baby Liam. You may remember his mom from a baby bump session I did a month or so ago. He was born on Christmas day! What a great present for his mommy and daddy. =) I was lucky enough to get to see him at less than a week old. Thank you Jennifer for having me over today. He was a fighting sleep in the beginning, but once he was out, it was for a while.

THanks Adam for having me come along to try out my new camera. Had fun, and it was nice meeting the couple of whose wedding I’ll be second shooing in May along with Adam, with Great Catch Photography. We started at the Florida Theater and walked around getting some nice shots along the way. It was briskly cold, downtown, very nice change from the sweltering heat of Florida. Here are some of my favorites.

Here are a few from Thursday, from a family session I did with a fellow Jacksonville photographer, Thomas Lester. We met in Green Cove Springs to get a few family shots of each other. I was so delighted to find that his family is soooo nice! It was a pleasure to meet them and get to work with them for a little while. I hope to see them again soon.
This was the “I don’t like my sibling” pose…They were the sweetest kids, so I had to make them do this pose. Haha..
Okay, so I love legs shots! And her Converses screamed “Shoot ME!” Haha.
Thanks Thomas for hanging out for a little bit! I can’t wait to do it again. =) Your family is the best, I’m glad I got to shoot them. See you soon!
